As such – a significant portion of the build-process will be up to you, the builder. So please know, there is no “right” or “wrong” way to assemble any of our designs! If you need to depart from the instructions, or rearrange things along the way, feel free to.

Step 1: Assemble and Join the Main Frame
To begin constructing your sofa bed, gather the following materials:
Start by organizing the positioning of each board according to their lengths. Once you have them arranged, proceed with assembling the first main frame. This frame will consist of creating a straight structure using 1 profile of 94 inches, 1 profile of 80 inches, and 2 profiles of 29 inches.
After assembling this frame, you'll need to layer 1 profile of 94 inches on top of the corresponding profile in the main frame. Similarly, place 1 profile of 29 inches on top of its matching length. This arrangement will form the frame and base necessary for proceeding to the next step of the construction process.
Step 2: Assemble the Shelves
To create the shelves on the right side of the main frame, you will need the following materials:
Begin by arranging the 28-inch profiles perpendicular to the 94-inch profiles, ensuring they are evenly distributed along the frame. This configuration will provide support for the shelves. Complete the frame by closing it with the 24-inch profile.
Congratulations! With this stage of the project completed, you are now 80% of the way through the assembly process. Well done!

Step 3: Assemble the Mattress Grill
In this final step, we will construct the grill that will support the mattress of your choice. Gather the following materials:
Begin by placing the two 2x4 profiles along the first frame, positioning them in the middle. Once securely fixed, proceed to place each of the 1x4 profiles one by one to form the grill that will provide support for your mattress or cushion.
